Foreign Associate Membership at a reduced membership rate is available for anaesthetists practising in the following countries European countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyz Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
This membership category is also available for all low income and lower middle income countries worldwide according to the World Bank list.
Membership is open to a licensed medical practitioner who has completed an accredited anaesthesia training programme, who is certified as a specialist anaesthetist, and who resides in a reduced fee country.
Benefits include online IJOA access, access to the OAA website and educational material, reduced course fees, and eligibility to apply for non-NIAA OAA research grants and bursaries (excluding travel grants).
The subscription rate for Foreign Associate Membership is £30.
