General
This is a clinically oriented fellowship. Individual arrangements can be made, but in general will involve clinical research and clinical care of patients, particularly high-risk patients. Opportunities are also available for basic or bench-top research.
The fellowship is also open to qualified foreign medical graduates with good English skills. Working vocabulary in Spanish is helpful but not necessary.
Hospital
The service cares for approximately 2,500 parturients per year.
