Online booking will close at 9am on Monday 15 May 2023.

If you are a non-member, to obtain the members' reduced rate you must first join the OAA and wait for confirmation of your membership before registering online.

By booking you will:  

  • Be able to attend both days of the conference (Thursday 18 and Friday 19 May 2023)
  • Be able to view recordings of the content post conference
  • Be able to access industry exhibition, e-posters, networking opportunities and much more
  • Fee includes refreshments and lunch 

Please note that there are no virtual tickets available for this meeting, all delegates would be expected to attend physically. 

OAA Retired Members can receive a reduced rate by calling 0207 631 8882.

Drinks reception

As an attendee of our Annual Scientific Meeting you are invited to our Drinks Reception on Thursday 18 May. This is a complementary event for all attendees and no booking is required.

Time: 5pm

Annual dinner

Join us to meet up with colleagues and friends for our popular annual dinner hosted at the National Museum of Scotland. Situated in the heart of the Old Town, the museum is just a short walk from the world famous Royal Mile.

Enjoy a sparkling drinks reception in the Kingdom of the Scots gallery where you will have the opportunity to discover Scotland as it emerged as a nation in 1100.  Here you can view the famous Lewis Chessman and precious Monymusk reliquary and encounter legends of Scotland's history, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots.  

You can also enjoy the striking architecture of Hawthornden Court and see the fabulous Dovecot tapestry.

A selection of drinks, canapés and food will be available, as well as exciting local entertainment.

Tickets: £55. Delegates can purchase a ticket for themselves and up to three guests. Guests who aren't attending the conference are also welcome.

In the event you are unable to attend, you will be able to cancel your place subject to approval and offered a refund minus a £20 administration charge up until 3 May 2023. Please provide written notice of your cancellation to events@oaa-anaes.ac.uk. 

We hope that this event will run as planned, but if the event is cancelled or postponed for any reason, please be assured that you will receive either a full refund or your ticket will be transferred to a new date.
