Dr Yavor Metodiev

Yavor graduated from Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, after which he completed a PhD in paediatric regional anaesthesia. His anaesthetic training was in the East Midlands School of Anaesthesia and included a year as an Advanced Fellow in Obstetric Anaesthesia at Leicester Royal Infirmary under the supervision of Prof. Mary Mushambi. He is a consultant at University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, where he is the Deputy College Tutor. He is a member of the editorial board of IJOA and an editor of Anaesthesia Reports. His main clinical interests are obstetric anaesthesia and anaesthesia for neurosurgery.
