Dr Sarah Griffiths

Dr Griffiths qualified in medicine from the University of Nottingham and completed her anaesthetic training in the Oxford Deanery. She has undertaken anaesthesia fellowships at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital, London and at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne. She is currently a consultant obstetric anaesthetist at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. In addition to obstetric anaesthesia, her other subspecialty interests are in anaesthesia for trauma surgery and for emergency general surgery. Dr Griffiths was the OAA trainee representative from 2013-2015 and is a previous recipient of the Felicity Reynolds Prize. She was elected to the OAA executive committee in June 2021.
