* Changes were made in 2011 to the visa (H-1B) requirements for people having direct clinical care of patients. Those with a non-US medical degree will need ECFMG certification (USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK) and USMLE Step 2 Clinical Skills (CS)).
Accreditation Obstetrical Anesthesiology is now accredited as a fellowship program in USA by the ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education).
