OAA Large Research Grants
Each year the OAA offers one large research grant of up to £60 000.
The grant is offered through the National Institute of Academic Anaesthesia (NIAA) and applications should be submitted directly via their website (https://www.niaa.org.uk/NIAA_home).
The NIAA has been awarded partnership status with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). This means that some research studies supported by these OAA funding streams may be adopted on to the NIHR portfolio and are eligible for support from the NIHR Comprehensive Local Research Networks (CLRNs).
The next deadline for applications will be at noon on Friday 21 April 2023.
OAA Small Research Grants
Each year the OAA offers up to eight small research grants are up to a value of £5000.
The OAA has been awarded partnership status with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). This means that some research studies supported by this funding stream may be adopted on to the NIHR portfolio and are eligible for support from the NIHR Comprehensive Local Research Networks (CLRNs).
