Student Bursaries

The OAA also offers an annual student bursary to students who perform their medical student elective abroad.

The bursary is a grant supporting travel and accomodation of medical students performing their elective abroad and is limited to £1000.

During the elective abroad the students should execute a research protocol related to Obstetric Anaesthesia. They should be supported by an Anaesthetist who is member of the OAA.

Applications should be send to Marc Van de Velde and should include details of the medical elective, the research protocol and a detailed breakdown of travel costs.

All applications should be received before June 1st and a decision is taken on July 1st.
