A limited number of Bursaries covering the registration fee, travel and four nights accommodation are available to overseas doctors who otherwise could not afford to attend the Course.

Applications for such Bursaries should be sent by email to Marc Van de Velde (Chairman Research & Grants Subcommittee) and should include:

- the Applicant’s curriculum vitae

- projected travel and accommodation costs 

- a letter from the Applicant’s Head of Department or Superior confirming the Applicant’s suitability for the Course, his/her current annual salary and that there are no local sources of funding available to the Applicant.

Payment for travel and accommodation would be by way of reimbursement on production of receipts and conditional on the Applicant attending the whole Course.

Each application will be considered on its merits by the Research & Grants committee and, if appropriate, forwarded to the OAA Executive Committee for a final decision.
